Main Building[]
Art Room[]
Art Classroom
After the Hyosan School Group escapes from Class 2-5, Lee Su-hyeok is separated from the group in the stairs. He hides in an art room, where there are several zombies. After accidentally dropping a pencil, the zombies begin chasing Su-hyeok, but he's able to block the zombies and escape out the window to the broadcasting room. The zombie that bit Yoon I-sak was shown wearing an art apron.
Bathroom[]
Park Mi-Jin, Lee Ha-lim and Yoo Jun-seong would flee into a girls bathroom in order to hide from the zombies. Later after it’s revealed Ha-lim was bitten and she transforms into a zombie, Jang Ha-ri and Jung Min-jae would enter the bathroom and kill her. They briefly hide in the bathroom before the next day, then the remaining survivors would venture out.
Break Room[]
The break room is where Jung Yong-nam hid during the apocalypse after leaving the principal's office. Eun-ji later breaks inside, eats several fish in a tank inside, and reminds Yong-nam about how he ignored her bullying problems and blamed her. Yong-nam attacks Eun-ji, thinking she's infected, but no harm is done to Eun-ji due to her hybrid state, so she ends up devouring Yong-nam. Eun-ji later ends up vomiting, and Yong-nam's zombified body exits the room and eventually ends up on the field. The sign near the door calls this room the "night-duty room."
Broadcasting Room[]
Broadcasting Room
The broadcasting room was a room that the broadcasting club (and presumably teachers as well) would use to make announcements to the entire school; it was a room in the school divided into two parts, with one part being used for broadcasts and the other part being where the sound settings were. It was first seen being used in Episode 1 where a girl tells the announcements during cleaning time. Later during the outbreak, Park Sun-hwa would hide in the room and make an announcement before the survivors would climb down from the science lab and enter the room. After the events of Han Gyeong-su dying, Lee Na-yeon leaving and Sun-hwa chasing after her, the group would make an announcement for Lee Cheong-san and later use the sounds to lure the zombies to one side of the school so that they could cross the school safely.
Sound Settings Room[]
When Gyeong-su was suspected of being infected, he quarantined himself in the sound settings room inside the broadcasting room for an hour. He exits after Na-yeon taunts him instead of apologizing and secretly infects him. The room is later used as a bathroom with a self-made toilet.
English Room[]
The English room was the class that most the Hyosan School Group were all part of and was taught by Ms. Park. At the beginning of the apocalypse, the group initially hid in the classroom until an infected Kang Jin-gu entered. He turned into a zombie and bit Kim Min-ji, who subsequently turned into a zombie as well, forcing the group to flee. Jang Ha-ri would check this room when searching for her brother, only to find it full of zombies, including Jung Yong-hyeon. The classroom is briefly seen during the bombing, and was destroyed by the bombing.
Library[]
Library
The library was a big room that had bookcases, tables and a small glass room (presumably where students would have studied or done work without being disrupted). During the outbreak Jang Do-min and two other students climbed on top of the bookshelves to escape from the zombies. Later after Cheong-san fights with Yoon Gwi-nam, an entire row of shelves is toppled over. Ha-ri and her group would arrive at the library to look for survivors and find none (due to Gwi-nam pushing Do-min into the zombies during the fight in the library and the other two students disappearing prior to the pairs arrival).
Music Room[]
Prior to the outbreak, a choir is seen practicing in the room. After the outbreak, Na-yeon took shelter in the closet in the room. The room had a zombie that was pinned down by a piano, making it unable to attack anyone. Later for several episodes, Cheong-san took shelter in the room before the rest of the survivors joined him there. The survivors filmed their final messages on a camera. Later they would formulate a plan to lure all the zombies to one side of the room while the other side would have a barricade and keep them away from the survivors, thus clearing the entire hallway for the survivors to flee to the rooftop. Na-yeon would later listen to their messages on the camera and attempt to bring food to the others, but Gwi-nam entered the room and killed her.
PTA Room[]
The PTA room was a closet inside the music room, full of food and drinks. Na-yeon hid in there and locked the door after Cheong-san entered the music room. The group attempted to break into the locked room, but stopped due to the risk of drawing zombies with the noise. Na-yeon would stay in the room until her guilt-induced hallucinations of Gyeong-su drove her to attempt to make amends with the group by bringing them food and drinks.
Nurse's Office[]
The nurse's office was first seen when Park Hee-su entered after feeling contractions in class but before she could explain her situation with the nurse, Kim Hyeon-ju was brought in, scaring her away. After Hyeon-ju bit the nurse, Kim Kyung-mi, she died and became a zombie before charging out of the room and infecting Park Chang-hoon, beginning the outbreak in the school. Ha-ri and her group would briefly take shelter in the office (which was now in a messed up state) where they attempted to use the computer to see the outside worlds' status before they headed towards the archery center.
Principal's Office[]
The room was the Principal's office prior to the outbreak; during the outbreak he called a meeting for most of the teachers and ordered them to herd the students back to the classroom (refusing to believe the gravity of the situation). After Ms. Park left the office was overrun by zombies but the principal hid behind his desk until Gwi-nam entered and killed the remaining zombies, later Cheong-san entered the room and filmed Gwi-nam tying the principal up and later killing him.
Rooftop[]
The rooftop is where Eun-ji tried to commit suicide, but changed her mind after seeing several students being attacked by zombies after Kim Cheol-soo unsuccessfully tried to stop her. The two shelter on the roof for a while until Eun-ji realizes it might be past the time that her nude video was uploaded. She rushes back inside to destroy everyone's phones, but Cheol-soo remains on the roof. Cheol-soo eventually builds an SOS sign, and when a rescue helicopter arrives, he only saves himself, not opening the door for the Hyosan School Group and even claiming he's the only survivor. By the time they reach the roof, the helicopter has already left. The group later builds a fire and the SOS sign again to attract another rescue helicopter, but not without Gwi-nam unsuccessfully trying to kill Cheong-san again. When another helicopter arrives, the students are almost saved, until the military abandons them due to asymptomatic halfbie Eun-ji attacking Cheol-soo at the quarantine. The group is left in despair, but a thunderstorm subsequently arises, providing some water for the students. The group afterwards escape the rooftop in pairs, but Yang Dae-su is forced to climb down alone.
Science Room[]
Science Room
The room resembled the usual science lab a school had but it had a few rows of desks in the front and two tables near the back. The Hyosan School Group took shelter in the room after fleeing from their original classroom; during the struggle to enter the room, one of the hallway windows was accidentally shattered giving an area the zombies could enter through, despite the group piling chairs and tables on the window they had to hold it together. Nam On-jo realized I-sak had been bit and she turned and was thrown out the window. The group would use a fire hose to climb down and escape to the broadcasting room before the zombies broke through the barricade.
Later the military soldiers would break through the windows and gun down multiple zombies during their retrieval of Byeong-chans laptop.
Closet[]
Prior to the outbreak the room's closet was used by Lee Byeong-chan to research the Jonas Virus and kept a cage with an infected mouse. Hyeon-ju would enter the closet and get bitten by the mouse before Byeong-chan realized that and kept her in there until she escaped and caused the outbreak. Later, when soldiers arrive at the school, they break into the science room, gun down several zombies, and enter the closet, sending files from Byeong-chan's laptop and taking it with them.
Teacher's Office[]
The teacher's office is a room that has many students' phones in it. Eun-ji rushes to the room to destroy Gwi-nam's phone to delete her video, and Cheong-san and Su-hyeok also make their way to the room to retrieve a phone to call for help. Unfortunately, by the time the two arrive, Eun-ji has already smashed most of the phones, and when Cheong-san attempts to grab a phone, Eun-ji attacks both of them, causing zombies to rush in and separating the boys, though Cheong-san was able to grab a working phone before he escaped.
Cafeteria[]
The cafeteria was a separate building beside the main school building; inside it was a giant room with a large number of tables and chairs for the students. During the outbreak a crowd of students fled into it causing chaos, soon zombies entered and proceeded to kill many students. Some students like Cheong-san and On-jo were able to escape through the side windows or the front entrance.
Kitchen[]
It was located in the same building the cafeteria was. During the outbreak a kitchen staff member was able to close the kitchen but a few zombies entered before the shutters could be closed. Gwi-nam hid in there initially and threw two other students and a worker to the zombies, before deciding to kill zombies himself with a knife.
Archery Center[]
A building located beside the main building, it was used by the archery team to practice. Later during the apocalypse, Ha-ri and her group took shelter there. After unsuccessfully trying to escape the first time, the group attempted to escape again, but Min-jae got separated and retreated back inside. Gwi-nam later enters and kills Min-jae, who tells him that the group escaped to the gym, which Gwi-nam subsequently makes his way to.
Gym[]
It's believed that the gym was being used during the outbreak and a few infected zombies attacked the students within. Later while the group was fleeing using the storm as cover, they fled into the gym hoping to take shelter in it from the zombies. Much to everyone’s horror, Choi Nam-ra sensed a horde of zombies inside, which attacked the group. Jun-seong would sacrifice himself to allow the group more time for them all to hide in the gym closet while Min-jae ran out the front doors in a blind panic and was unable to get back inside. Later the group would use several pieces of equipment as a mobile barricade to escape from the gym, but Oh Joon-yeong was killed in the process. Nam So-ju was able to unlock the doors from the outside to help the group escape. Later Gwi-nam enters the gym searching for Cheong-san, but only finds the zombified Joon-yeong, who he kicks out of spite.
Storage Room[]
Inside the gym was a storage room, where the group sheltered for a bit. The room was full of equipment they used to shield themselves from the zombies outside. It also had an expired chocolate bar, which barely fed most of the students' empty stomachs, though Joon-yeong was forgotten.
Field[]
A giant field was located outside the school. It was located between the gate and the school itself. Students used it to play football prior to the outbreak. During the outbreak, many students fled across the field and many became zombified. Later after the initial outbreak, many zombies began gathering in the field making it impossible to escape to the main gate of the school. Later Eun-ji would walk through the field, seeing several of her former bullies as zombies, including Chang-hoon and Yong-nam. Kim Ji-min would die there after getting lost and running into the field during the thunderstorm.
Later the military would use it to herd many zombies (from the school and Hyosan) into the field before sending a surface to surface missile and blow them up; in the aftermath the field itself was completely destroyed and in its place was a giant hole left from the explosion.
Tennis Court[]
After the group escaped the gym with the help of Nam So-ju, they would flee into the tennis court and close its gate behind them but realize they were trapped after noticing more zombies in the other side; eventually the main gate was forced open by the horde of zombies and for a brief moment the zombies were unable to reach the students completely due to the tennis net but So-ju used a few flares to distract the zombies away from the survivors, but as he distracted the zombies, he was bitten on the hand and was forced to stay behind for the safety of his daughter and the other students. Not long after he reanimated, his zombified body would bump into Cheong-san's zombified mother.
Construction Site[]
It was a building under construction presumably being a new building for Hyosan High School; prior to the outbreak the bullies may have used the site due to its distance from the school to torment/torture students, in Episode 1 they forced Eun-ji to strip to film a nude video and they also forced Cheol-soo to record it before Su-hyeok intervened and attempted to help them but both stayed out of fear. During the outbreak it was most likely being worked on when zombies entered the site and infected the workers; later the main group of survivors would arrive at this location but Nam-ra would warn them of its infected occupants and the group would be able to hide for a while from the zombies, from there Nam-ra also heard the military's warnings of the bombing before Gwi-nam would arrive and attack the group and bite Cheong-san before the military began broadcasting in a certain frequency to draw the zombies towards the school, that frequency would incapacitate Gwi-nam before Cheong-san would be able to push him of the building, after Cheong-san and On-jo said goodbye to each other he would make his way into the building and scream in order to draw the zombies away and thus clear a path for the survivors to escape, after the survivors escaped Gwi-nam arrived and attacked Cheong-san, after he gouged Cheong-san's eye out and thought he had won, the school would be bombed and the blast would hit and destroy the site, throughout this Cheong-san grabbed Gwi-nam as a body shield from the blast and fell into a unfinished elevator shaft, later On-jo would return to the ruins in hope of finding Cheong-san but Nam-ra stated she didn't smell anything alive before they left the school grounds for good.

- After the bombing, when class 2-5 is shown On-jo's backpack can be seen amongst the few items that survived the bombing. Along with her yellow pencil pouch.
