Jang Wu-jin (Korean: 장우진) was a major character in Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. He is portrayed by Son Sang-yeon. He is Jang Ha-ri's younger brother. In the English Dub, he is voiced by K. Kevin Choi.
History[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Wu-jin was a student at Hyosan High School, the same school his older sister attended. He was also Yang Dae-su's best friend.
After Kim Hyeon-ju was taken to the nurse's office, Dae-su discusses with him, Lee Cheong-san, Han Gyeong-su, and Oh Joon-yeong about Lee Byeong-chan made "porn" with her, he reprimanded him by smacking him in the head, telling him to stop talking about dirty things off topic.
Post-Apocalypse[]
When the outbreak started, he hid in classroom 2-5 and blocked the door, He kept it shut when Lee Cheong-san and Nam On-jo arrived. When they escape to the science lab, he uses the windows to block zombies.
In the broadcasting room, when Lee Na-yeon leaves, he attempts to stop her, but instead stops Park Sun-hwa when she also tried to stop Na-yeon. When the group was using the drone, he noticed an arrow pierced in one of the zombies. He notes that his sister was an expert archer. When the students are recording videos for their parents in the music room, he jokingly tells his mom that he wants an allowance raise before passing the camera. When Choi Nam-ra hears puking, he silently farts and Nam-ra hears it. He also fought Yoon Gwi-nam on the rooftop and got injured along with the others. When the rescue team arrives, he notices that the soldiers were ordered to abandon the group last minute. When it begins to rain after, he and Dae-su layed down on the floor drinking and then cries at the same time. Later on during the thunderstorm escape, he was the only one who seemed to have noticed Seo Hyo-ryung and Kim Ji-min’s absence from the group, leading him to go back and save Hyo-ryung at the last second from a zombie before it was killed by an arrow. He reunites with his older sister and both groups join forces and head to the gym.
He also fought the zombies in the gym when the group used a mobile barricade to escape through the gym and also witnessed Oh Joon-yeong's sacrifice (which he tells Dae-su that it's not Park Mi-jin's fault, and they all lost their friends, teachers and family. He also witnessed the bombing of Hyosan High School.
Death[]
After the group made their way from the mountains and into a nearby town, Choi Nam-ra sensed zombies in the area and the group tried to escape but because of Dae-su having had his leg injured during the bombing, the group decided to fight the zombies rather than leaving Dae-su behind. During the fight, he saw a zombie heading towards his sister and he jumped in the way, getting bit in the process. In his final moments, he said goodbye to his sister and friends before turning into a zombie. He was immediately killed by Nam-ra, greatly upsetting Ha-ri.
Legacy[]
In Episode 12, his name was likely written by the group survivors on the memorial. Through Ha-ri's flashbacks, Wu-jin's last moments were briefly seen.
Physical Appearance[]
Wu-jin had short black hair. He wore the standard male Hyosan High School uniform as well as Adidas sneakers. In Nam On-jo's flashback, he wore the Hyosan High School male summer uniform. He puts on a pair of shoulder pads to protect himself from zombie bites. As a zombie, he has a stream of blood from his right nostril to his mouth and a welt under his left eye.
Personality[]
Wu-jin was incredibly selfless as seen when he saved Hyo-ryung and also when he sacrificed himself to save his older sister.

Trivia[]
- In the webtoon, Wu-jin and Ha-ri were not siblings, as that role was taken over by Jung Min-jae instead. Additionally, he was killed by Lee Na-yeon after she hallucinated him as Gyeong-su and stabbed him.
- In the webtoon, Yoon Gwi-nam uses Wu-jin's body in order to try and trick the group by faking his death, he puts his jacket on Wu-jin's body and throws it out of the window, making the group think Gwi-nam had fallen and died. Fortunately, this trick doesn't last long.
- In the webtoon, his last name was Jeong.
- Wu-jin is the last character confirmed to have died in the first season, and is also the only known zombie to have not been killed during the bombing. Firstly being Lee Jin-su.
