Jo Dal-ho (Korean: 조달호) is a supporting character in Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. He is portrayed by Jo Dal-hwan.

History[]

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Dal-ho was the senior aide of assemblywoman Park Eun-hee, who represented Hyosan in the National Defense Council. He worked at the Hyosan City Council.

Post-Apocalypse[]

Dal-ho contacts 119 Fire EMS Rescue about a young aide. He tells Nam So-ju and Kim U-sin about how the aide collapsed after getting to work, then got up and tried to attack Eun-hee. After the zombified aide was restrained, Dal-ho was called by an unknown person and informed of the infection, which he relayed to Eun-hee. When Park Young-hwan started turning, Dal-ho told So-ju that what's happening to Young-hwan is what happened to the young aide. That night, a disappointed Dal-ho tells So-ju to callback the evacuation and the helicopter would pick them up, blaming him for not signaling the assemblywoman's presence.

The next day, Dal-ho was able to escape from zombies with the others and managed to reached the rooftop with the aides, but the door was locked with a heavy padlock and he quickly tried to callback with a talkie-walkie but received no response, running downstairs to warn them. U-sin was able to break the padlock with his materials and Dal-ho helped, successfully reaching the rooftop. Finally the group was evacuated by the military and brought to the Quarantine Camp.

After arriving at the island, he gets blamed with the others by the Hyosan residents on the waiting line. While Eun-hee briefly talks to the soldier in front of her, ignoring her demands and shake hands. As per martial law, they were sent to the quarantine and examined first, which includes Dal-ho. He continues to demand for the military to let the assemblywoman being examined first, which they refused due to people still waiting before them. While trying his best to comfort Eun-hee, giving her a water bottle, she asked if cell phones are working; he said no and that there's no service, while still waiting, he sees three military medics entering the room with plates of food. A horrified Dal-ho watches So-ju and U-sin beat them and take their uniforms, pretending to be one of them. After a few hours, he and the assemblywoman eventually meets the person in charge, Jin Seon-mu.

The night, he was present during in a investigation with Eun-hee and U-sin. Afterwards, U-sin is disappointed due to being used them in the situation, alongside with So-ju. Dal-ho disagree and tells him some reasonable answers, such as Eun-hee being heroic. Unexpectedly, several soldiers arrive in the room, for safety reasons, they were send to the special quarantine, Dal-ho tells them ironically being a criminal and refused to put Eun-hee in jail, imprisoning for an unknown amount of time. However they ended up beaten along with the aides, injured. Respectfully, they are send to jail and most of them are separated.

In the next day, he tried to pay attention to the Party Leader, leaving the assemblywoman and aides behind. Dal-ho inform Eun-hee if they were able to getting them out, Eun-hee didn't respond back. In that night, he watched smokes and bright lights of fire in the sky after the bombing, Dal-ho being miserable along with the aides.

Several months later, he and the aides likely still in the same cell, living quite peacefully after the chaos.

Physical Appearance[]

Dal-ho has short black hair. He wears a grey pinstripe suit with a dark grey necktie and black dress shoes. When preparing to head to the roof, he puts on elbow and wrist pads to protect himself from zombie bites.

Personality[]

Dal-ho is characterized by his extreme loyalty to Eun-hee, always standing up for her and trying to get her the best treatment available. He refuses to tolerate poor treatment for Eun-hee and will continuously demand for better treatment if she does not tell him to stop. For her part, Eun-hee is more or less indifferent towards Dal-ho, but will tell him to stop if she feels he's going too far.

  • Despite being unseen in Episode 11, he was still credited. Along with Yoo Jun-seong, who didn't appeared in the episode aswell.
