Mr and Mrs. Kim (full names unknown) were minor characters in Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. Mrs. Kim is portrayed by Lee Hyun-ah and Mr. Kim is portrayed by Ahn Dae-cheon.
History[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Nothing much is known other than they were Kim Ji-min's parents, they lived in Hyosan, and they worked in a leather factory (father) and a soondae shop (mother). They wanted Ji-min to go to a university in Seoul, but she was scared to move, so Nam On-jo convinced her to skip school for five days so the Principal would rescind his letter of recommendation. The morning of the day the outbreak started, Mrs. Kim is seen giving her daughter a bag of soondae that she forgot and told her to share it with her friends in choir before complaining to her husband that Ji-min skipped breakfast before leaving.
Post-Apocalypse[]
At an unknown time, Ji-min's parents presumably heard about the outbreak and rushed to save their daughter but crashed at the school's entrance. It's unknown whether they were bitten before the crash or after the crash; their deaths deeply affected Ji-min who would attempt suicide. It's unknown if their zombified bodies stayed in the truck until it was destroyed by the bombing or if they eventually broke out.
Physical Appearance[]
Mrs. Kim had dark brown shoulder length hair and wore a buttoned long sleeve and a red vest. Mr. Kim was bald, had a mustache and wore a plaid shirt. As zombies, they're both extremely bloody and Mr. Kim appears to have a wound on the left side of his head, possibly where he was bitten.
Personality[]
During the short time they're seen on screen, just like every parent seen in the series, they are shown to care for their daughter as seen when the mother gave Ji-min her lunch and also when they both died trying to reach Hyosan High School to save their daughter.

Trivia[]
- Ji-min’s parents were seen infected when she phoned them in the webtoon, not when the group was using a drone to investigate the surrounding situation.
- In the webtoon Ji-min's parents went to the school in an attempt to save her despite Ji-min calling earlier to warn them about the situation at school. Their fates are unknown, but they're presumed deceased as they were last seen surrounded by zombies.
- Ji-min's father is credited as "infected 28".
- Ji-min's mom is briefly mentioned in Episode 10, where Ji-min tearfully calls out for her before dying.
- After Jin Seon-mu commits suicide and it cuts back to Hyosan high, the archery bus is shown to have survived, leaving it possible that Mr Kim's truck survived and they were killed by the military.
