Archery Bus Driver[]
Bus Driver
While driving back to the school, the bus driver nearly hits Park Hee-su who walked on the streets right in front of him, much to his frustration. He is then shocked when a zombie slams into the bus and breaks the windshield just as they enter the gate and is last seen getting out of the bus. The driver's fate, along with that of the archery coach, is unknown as they are never seen again. He is portrayed by Han Sang-chul.
Choir Conductor[]
Choir Conductor
He is seen conducting a group of students in the choir. His fate is unknown as he is never seen after the choir practice. He appears as a cameo in Episode 7 in a filmed choir rehearsal. He is portrayed by Kim Kyung-hoo.
"Deaf" Zombie[]
Deaf Zombie
When the group used the intercom system to lure the zombies to one side of the school, all but one zombie went to that side; he instead just bumped into the wall and stayed there. The group tried sneaking past him but Oh Joon-yeong accidentally dropped a thermos. Despite the zombie seemingly not hearing the music, he heard the thermos hitting the ground and began chasing the group. Su-hyeok tried to fight him off but he was able to tackle him. Gwi-nam pulled the zombie off him and killed him. He is portrayed by Kook Joong-i.
Groundskeeper[]
Groundskeeper
A groundskeeper was trimming bushes on top of a ladder when the outbreak began. He tried to fight off the zombies with his shears, but eventually fell and was bitten, most likely becoming a zombie later. He is portrayed by Park Young-bok.
Kitchen Staff[]

Kitchen Staff Member 2
Several staff members were working in the kitchen when the outbreak reached the cafeteria. One tried to fight off a zombie that broke in with a pan and escape when the fire started, but got tackled and bitten from behind. Another staff member offered for Yoon Gwi-nam to hide with her, but he used her as a human shield instead. The fates of the rest of the staff is unknown. The hiding staff member is portrayed by Cho Hyun-sook.
World History Teacher[]
World History Teacher
After he leaves the staff meeting, the teacher sees Hong Dae-won and questions what's wrong with his leg, not realizing he's a zombie. Dae-won grabs and bites his leg. Park Sun-hwa tries to stop him, but runs away after being tackled by Dae-won, with two other zombies devouring the man, them becoming a zombie later. The man was eventually shot dead by soldiers as they entered the science lab and his body was left there.[2] He is portrayed by Yoo Byung-seon.

She was presumably a member of the broadcasting club and presented the news over the school radio during the cleaning hour the day before the outbreak. She was not seen again, but is credited as "Infected 52", meaning she became a zombie during the outbreak and was most likely killed in the bombing. She is portrayed by Lee Seung-yeon.

When the zombie outbreak reaches the cafeteria, several distinctive zombies are shown. One zombie can be seen at the entrance eating a girl. When he spots Nam On-jo, he rushes to her and crawls up to her face, snarling before Lee Cheong-san pulls him away and rescues her.
Cheong-san then hides On-jo under a table with another girl who's been bitten. The three then attempt to escape before a student bumps into them and causes them to fall. The infected girl turns into a zombie, and attempts to attack On-jo before Cheong-san rescues her again. She is portrayed by Yang Min-ju and credited as "Female student under the dining room desk".
A male student collapses on the floor and transforms into a zombie. He attempts to attack Gwi-nam, but he crouches in time as the zombie crashes into a table.

Dangling Zombie[]
Dangling Zombie
After the Hyosan School Group escapes to the broadcasting room, a zombie breaks into the science room and gets her foot wrapped up in the hose before attempting to attack the group. Lee Su-hyeok unsuccessfully attempted to get rid of the zombie by hitting her with a broom, accidentally hitting Han Gyeong-su and giving him a bloody nose. The latter was able to successfully remove the zombie by throwing a computer at her, after which she ran off onto the field. She has been presumed deceased after the bomb dropped on the school.
Girl Hiding in Kitchen[]
Kitchen Girl
When the zombie outbreak reaches the cafeteria, she hides in the kitchen along with Gwi-nam, Shin Hyung-seo and a chef. The girl starts crying, so Gwi-nam pushes her into the zombies. She is bitten and tries to attack Gwi-nam, but he fights her off. It's unknown if she stayed in the cafeterias kitchen until it was destroyed by the bombing or if she was eventually able to escape. She is portrayed by Park Seung-ah.
Girl Who Hung Herself[]
Hanging Girl
While flying the drone around the school, the Hyosan School Group finds a girl who committed suicide by tying a cord around her neck and jumping out of a second story window. Her corpse can later be seen when zombies at the school are attracted to drones used by the military and was presumably vaporized along with the other zombies.
Hong Ji-seong[]
Hong Ji-seong
Hong Ji-seong is filmed by other students fighting Hong Dae-won. He repeatedly bashes Dae-won's cone with two brooms until their "fight" is interrupted by two screaming fleeing female students, causing him and the others to run for their lives, leaving Dae-won behind. He is not seen again, but is credited as "Infected 3", meaning he became a zombie during the outbreak and was most likely killed in the bombing. He is portrayed by Seong Baek-in.
Jung Yong-hyeon[]
Jung Yong-hyeon
A zombified student named Jung Yong-hyeon ended up in the English room. He is seen among zombies chasing towards Jang Ha-ri while she was looking for her brother. He isn't seen again but it's likely he died during the bombing. He is portrayed by an unknown actor.
Kang Yun-ah[]

Kang Yun-ah was a student in the same class as Min Eun-ji and Yoon Gwi-nam. She laughed when Gwi-nam bullied Eun-ji during class. Her fate is unknown as she was never seen during the apocalypse. She was portrayed by Noreen Joyce Guerra, who is actually Filipino rather than Korean.
Lee Sun-mo & Kwon Hyuk-jae[]

While Eun-ji is eating in the cafeteria, Lee Sun-mo and Kwon Hyuk-jae spitefully dump their trays on top of hers. Eun-ji is reminded of this when she sees Sun-mo as a zombie on the field. It is unknown if Hyuk-jae became a zombie too as he isn't seen after the flashback. Sun-mo is credited as Infected 27. Sun-mo is portrayed by Song Ji-hyuk and Hyuk-jae is portrayed by Shin Jae-in.
Piano Zombie[]
Piano Zombie
A member of the choir group was infected and pinned down by the piano during the outbreak. She is first seen when Cheong-san hides in the music room and hears her trying to reach him, but quickly realizes she is unable to move. The Hyosan School Group put a sheet over her head, and Lee Na-yeon later muffled the sound of her feet by putting a piece of wood between them and the piano keys. It's unknown if she stayed under the piano until it was destroyed or if she was eventually able to break free when the drones arrived at the school in episode 11.
She is portrayed by Bae Yoon-min and credited as "Piano Infector".
Recording Girl[]

She was presumably a friend of Hong Dae-won and is seen filming a "fight" between Ji-seong and Dae-won with two other students observing the event; as the "fight" is progressing, it's interrupted by two screaming fleeing female students, causing her and the others to run for their lives, leaving Dae-won behind. Her fate and that of the rest of the group is unknown as they are never seen again. She is portrayed by Yoon Sun-jung.

Apartment Security Guard[]
Security Guard
The unnamed apartment security guard appeared in the opening of Episode 1. He worked for the apartment complex where Lee Na-yeon and Choi Nam-ra lived, and tried unsuccessfully to stop other students (including Gyeong-su) from using the complex as a shortcut to get to school. His fate is unknown as he isn't seen again. He is portrayed by Ji Sung-Geun.
Car Accident Wife[]

She was a pregnant resident of Hyosan prior to the outbreak, and tried to escape by car with her husband. The car crashed, pinning her legs and bump, and though her husband tries to get Nam So-ju to help them, but So-ju says he doesn't have the equipment to cut her loose. Her fate and that of her husband's are unknown.
She was portrayed by Hwang Sun-jung.

The couple were trying to escape a zombie horde when they got involved in an accident and their car flipped over. They were trapped by their seatbelts and are devoured by zombie shortly after. Likely becoming zombies after. The wife was portrayed by Baek Hye-ri and the husband was portrayed by Cho Sung-hyun.
Cha Hyun-seok[]

Cha Hyun-seok is a reporter. He informs the South Korean populace that the infected are shown to be very aggressive and dangerous. He is portrayed by Kim Sung-yong.
Convoyer Offender[]

The unnamed convoy offender was being evacuated from the Hyosan Police Station when zombies overwhelmed it. He is infected and tries to bite Song Jae-ik, but fails as he is tied in a line with the other evacuating prisoners. He is portrayed by Han Sung-soo.
Doctor[]
Doctor
He is seen checking Lee Jin-su's file and telling someone over the phone that Jin-su has significant internal bleeding and will die unless he gets surgery within the next hour. He does not notice Lee Byeong-chan entering the hospital or him leaving with Jin-su's unconscious body in a suitcase. He also appears to receive a sedated Kim Hyeon-ju and sends her to the MRI room. His fate is unknown as he does not appear again. He is portrayed by Ko Han-Min.
Female Medical Technician[]

The unnamed female medical technician is seen in the hospital doing a MRI scan on Kim Hyeon-ju when the zombified Hyeon-ju woke up and began thrashing, at first she and her male coworker tried to restrain her but they looked on in horror as Hyeon-ju breaks her spine in half before lunging at the female medical technician; she presumably got bit on the neck before fleeing from the room into the busy hospital hallway and tried to call for help before being bitten again on the leg. She’s helped by two nearby hospital staff and flees, most likely becoming a zombie later.
Government Official[]

Due to the mass spread of harmful fake news about the Jonas Virus, the government official declares that martial law must be expanded to control the media. The Prime Minister, however, is significantly focused on containing the virus and rescuing the uninfected, arguing that they still have a duty to uphold freedom of the press despite the crisis. He is portrayed by Seo Kwang-jae.
Hyosan Evacuees[]
Hyosan Evacuees
A elderly man and his granddaughter (whom was called Zuki by her grandfather) were evacuated from Hyosan along with other survivors by the military and where taken to a nearby city but where met by a crowd of protesters who refused to allow the evacuees to enter their city, causing a fight to break out despite police and military protection. He is hit by eggs thrown by the protestors while trying to shield his granddaughter. The elderly man is portrayed by Kim Bong-soo while the little girl is portrayed by Choi Hye-seo.
Investigator[]

She is seen trying to get witness statements about the initial outbreak from any surviving students but most of them refuse to cooperate due to their abandonment by the military and emergency services at the school. She is portrayed by Na Mi-hee.
Kim Dong-woo[]

Kim Dong-woo[3] filmed the aftermath of a car collision that nearly killed Park Hee-su. He live streams the crash and its aftermath on Facebook before being chased away by a zombie. Hee-su later sees him at a nearby park being eaten alive by the zombie, most likely becoming a zombie later. He is portrayed by Lee Choong-shik.
Kindergartener Zombies[]

Orangibberish finds a kindergarten that appears to be abandoned, but is chased and attacked by a horde of zombie children. All of them were most likely killed after the bombing in episode 11 as they weren't seen again, even after Song Jae-ik found Orangibberish on the roof. Four of them were portrayed by Lee Chae-Bin, Song Ha-yun, Ahn Seok-hyun and Kim Min-chan.
Lee Seong-man[]

While the 119 Fire EMS Rescue team is assisting Park Eun-hee and her aides, So-ju gets a call from his chief, Lee Seong-man. Seong-man tells him that Hyosan is under evacuation and that he must evacuate. Seong-man then warns So-ju about how dangerous and transmittable the virus is. Seong-man's fate is unknown as he is not seen again, and when So-ju tries to call the station later, he gets no answer, implying the virus may have killed him. He is portrayed by Lee Yoon-Sang.
Male Medical Technician[]

He is seen during an MRI scan on Kim Hyeon-ju after she was brought to the hospital. When she reanimates in the middle of the scan and begins thrashing, he and his female coworker try to restrain her but she breaks her own spine to escape their hold and attacks the technicians. The female technician is bitten on the neck and flees into the hospital hallway to call for help, but the male technician is not seen again, presumably as he has been bitten or devoured by Hyeon-ju. He is portrayed by Woo Young-Nam.
Military Doctor[]

After examining Lee Jae-jun, the doctor found out that zombies are dead with the virus being the only thing that keeps the body moving. He did not believe the idea that halfbies were any more alive than the rest, and generally advocated for violent suppression measures. He is portrayed by Park Joon-sang.
Military Officer[]

An unnamed military officer had experimented while using sounds on Min Eun-ji and zombified Lee Jae-jun then demonstrated to Jin Seon-mu using different sound frequencies to attract zombies. He is portrayed by Eum Ji-man.
NIS Field Agent[]

At some point, the National Intelligence Services visits Lee Byeong-chan's house and investigate, making a mess and discovering the zombified Lee Jin-su and Mrs. Lee. The field agent told the NIS Agent that they're on the verge of starving to death. He is portrayed by In Gyu-sik.
Operation Special Soldiers[]

In order to retrieve Byeong-chan's laptop and rescue the endangered students, Jin Seon-mu sent a rescue helicopter to Hyosan High School. Upon the helicopter's arrival, several soldiers retrieved Byeong-chan's laptop and files from the science lab, then began helping the students on the rooftop to get into the helicopter. After Eun-ji was revealed to be infected but asymptomatic, Seon-mu ordered the rescue operation to be canceled. The soldiers were forced to lower Kim Ji-min from the helicopter and were ordered to shoot any of the students who resisted being left behind. The apparent squad captain fired a series of warning shots into the air instead and apologized to the students before leaving. Once the helicopter lifts off, he removes his helmet and throws it to the floor in frustration. They are portrayed by Hong Ah-ron, Kwon Hyun-seok, Im Tae-hoon, Park Yong-kyun, and Yoo Seung-rak.

During the spread of the news of the zombie outbreak in Hyosan, a priest during a sermon calls the zombies demons and a punishment from god to all of the listeners. He is portrayed by Kwon Hyun-soo.
Se-bin's Mother[]
Se-bin's mother
She is seen among the horde that chased Se-bin outside Cheong-san Chicken. When Jae-ik rescues her, Se-bin identifies her mother by pointing to one of the zombies in the window, and Jae-ik lies and says they'll come back for her later. She isn't shown again but was presumably killed in the bombing. She is portrayed by Jeon A-hee.

After the news of the zombie outbreak in Hyosan spread across the Korean peninsula, three pranksters decided to act like the outbreak had reached Seoul. They staged a fake zombie attack in the subway, one of them acting like a person fleeing into a crowded subway carriage before being "attacked" by the "zombie" causing the onlookers to panic and flee to the next subway car. They later post a satire apology video on YouTube. They are portrayed by Kim Tae-hoon, Han Seung-ho, and an unnamed actor.
Zombified Aide[]
Zombified Aide
According to Jo Dal-ho, he was their youngest aide. After he is infected offscreen, firefighter Nam So-ju and his unit arrive to help with the Jonas outbreak occurring in their office. The politicians manage to restrain the zombified aide to a chair, but firefighter Park Young-hwan is bit trying to cover his mouth, resulting in him becoming a zombie as well. It's unknown if both him and Young-hwan stayed in the building until it was presumably destroyed by the bombing, if they eventually broke free from the chairs and followed the drones to one of the bombing spots, or if they got killed by the military eliminating any remaining zombies. He is portrayed by Hwang Yun-ho.
Mentioned or Unseen[]
Choi Nam-ra’s mother[]
She is mentioned by Choi Nam-ra when Lee Su-hyeok says they should visit Kim Hyeon-ju after school; Nam-ra asks why and he said its because she's class president to which she retorts that she's only president because her mom made a large donation and because of that nobody considers her class president. Her mom is later mentioned several times including on how she was afraid of making her mom mad and she didn't make friends because she knew her mom would scrutinize them. Nam-ra's mom is presumably a wealthy, influential woman as she was able to bribe the Principal into making Nam-ra class president. Nam-ra later says that her mother would have torn the school apart looking for her but she hadn't arrived, implying that the virus spread beyond the school. Her fate is unknown.
Seo Hyo-ryung's Parents[]
Hyo-ryung addresses her camcorder video to them, reassuring them she's alright, showing the members of the Hyosan School Group to them and saying she misses them. Their fates are unknown.
Jang Wu-jin's Mother[]
She is the mother of Wu-jin and his older sister Ha-ri. Wu-jin addresses his camcorder video to her, jokingly saying he wants an allowance raise. Her fate is unknown.
Han Gyeong-su's Grandmother[]
She is mentioned in Lee Cheong-san's camcorder video where he asks his mother to tell her about Gyeong-su's death. Her fate is unknown.
Jin Seon-mu's family[]
Jin Seon-mu has a wife and two children, all three of whom are living elsewhere in Korea. After the bombing, Seon-mu calls his wife and asks after the children. They discuss the possibility of getting a tutor for one of the children, and Seon-mu's wife tells him that both children are stressed before becoming angry and shouting at him over the phone. After Seon-mu hangs up and shoots himself, his wife texts him several times to apologize and ask when he'll be coming home, not knowing that her husband is dead.
Aides families[]
When Park Eun-hee is convincing Nam So-ju to evacuate them instead of helping his daughter, she says that one of her male aides lives with his mother, and her female aide has a husband and children, and questions So-ju if she would be right in allowing them to go after their loved ones, knowing they would likely die. The fates of the aforementioned family members are unknown.
Mrs. Jung[]
The day before the outbreak, in the teachers office, a Hyosan High School teacher says goodbye to another staff member named Mrs. Jung before she leaves. Her fate is unknown.
Se-bin's boyfriend[]
When Jae-ik tells Se-bin about his son, she mentions she already has a boyfriend who presumably went to her school. His fate is unknown.
Kim Hyeon-ju's parents[]
When Hyeon-ju was about to be taken to the hospital Park Young-hwan asks Park Sun-hwa if she contacted Hyeon-ju's parents, she replied with a yes. Their fates are unknown, but if Hyeon-ju's parents did make it to the hospital or school, it's possible they were killed when the zombies overran both the school and the hospital.
Min Eun-ji's mom[]
Yoon Gwi-nam mentions Eun-ji's mom, and says he is friends with her on Facebook, and threatens to send it to her if she left. Kim Cheol-soo also mentions he had to bring Gwi-nam money to delete the post. But couldn't because the zombies, hearing this Eun-ji walks over the ledge to jump off the roof, but Cheol-soo says everyone will still see her body even if she dies, including her mom. Her fate is unknown.
Park Ju-yeong[]
Park Ju-yeong Message
Park Ju-yeong is an unseen resident of Hyosan who was killed either during the outbreak or the bombing and had a memorialized message in the Quarantine camp that was written by an unknown survivor. It was translated as "I miss you, Park Ju-yeong".
U-gin[]
U-gin Message
U-gin (full name unknown) is an unseen resident of Hyosan who was killed either during the outbreak or the bombing and had a memorialized message in the Quarantine camp that was written by an unknown survivor. It was translated as "I love you, U-gin".
