Min Eun-ji (Korean: 민은지) is a supporting and major antagonist character of the first season of Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. She is portrayed by Oh Hye-soo. She is voiced by Natalie Han in the English Dub.
History[]
Eun-ji was a severely depressed student at Hyosan High School because she was bullied by many students such as Yoon Gwi-nam, Son Myeong-hwan, and Park Chang-hoon, along with Lee Jin-su, Kim Cheol-soo, and possibly others. Some time before the day of the apocalypse, a girl poured milk on her head and two boys dropped their lunch tray's on hers while she was eating. She was also bullied by Jung Yong-nam, the school's dean who didn't help Eun-ji with the bullying when she tried to report it. Eun-ji blames every student in the school for her pain despite some of them trying to help her, most notably Lee Su-hyeok.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
On the day of the apocalypse, Eun-ji is brought to an under construction building of the school along with Cheol-soo by Gwi-nam, Myeong-hwan, and Chang-hoon. Chang-hoon restrains her and holds her mouth as Gwi-nam rips her vest off and removes her shirt. Cheol-soo is pressured to do a live stream of her shirtless that will be scheduled to be posted on the next day by 9AM. Su-hyeok arrives and intervenes to help the pair, until Gwi-nam threatens to send the photo to Eun-ji's mom, who he's friends with on Facebook. Not wanting to take the risk, Eun-ji and Cheol-soo stay with the bullies.
During class where Lee Byeong-chan discusses viruses, Gwi-nam continues to bully Eun-ji, this time by writing "IM SO SEXY" on the back of her shirt, making her cry as other students laugh at her, which causes her to spiral into a state of depression for the whole class period. After that, she is seen on a rooftop attempting to commit suicide due to the abuse she received from Gwi-nam and his group. But Cheol-soo arrives in time, begging her not to do it. As she prepares to jump off the roof, she sees four students being tackled out of windows by zombies. Realizing that the school is being overrun, she then decides to not do it due to the risk.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Eun-ji and Cheol-soo then stayed on the rooftop for a while until she decided to go back inside the school to find Gwi-nam's phone to stop the topless photos of her being uploaded. Cheol-soo refuses to go down with her due to the infected. Eun-ji calls him a coward who's too afraid to live or die and leaves him alone on the rooftop. When she goes down and walks along the hallway, she is chased by a horde of infected and is eventually swarmed and devoured by them. She forces herself out from underneath the horde, desperate to get into the teachers office which contained the students' phones. It's here that Eun-ji realizes she has not completely become a zombie, and is still herself.
When Lee Cheong-san and Su-hyeok decide to go to one of the teacher's office so they can get their hands on a phone for the group to figure out the outside world situation, unluckily for them, they stumbled upon the now halfbie Eun-ji smashing the phones with a brick to prevent anyone from seeing the photos of her assault. When she stops smashing the phones, the boys sneak in and attempt to find a working phone but are caught by Eun-ji who begins screaming that she'll kill them, which then causes another horde of infected to bust into the office. In the nick of time, Cheong-san and Su-hyeok managed to escape from the horde and Eun-Ji but were separated due to all the phones smashed by Eun-ji no longer working and Cheong-san does a risky move in-order to get a working one while Su-hyeok helps Cheong-san by by using himself bait and defending himself from all the infected.
Eun-ji later appeared again in a clip showing her still in the teacher's office that has the phones while being sensitive to the music and when the students decide to use the PA system to distract the infected with music on speakers to help Cheong-san and the group escape.
She is then seen tidying herself up, and roaming freely down the halls. Hungry, she enters a room containing goldfish, where the school dean Jung Yong-nam is hiding. She recognizes the teacher as one who allowed the bullying to continue and blamed her. He attempts to kill her after seeing her devour the goldfish, but she bites him, turning him into a zombie.
She once again cleans herself, attempting to leave the school, but when seeing the classmates that bullied her relentlessly, she re-enters the school and starts a fire, hoping to destroy the school. Her burning the office triggered the smoke detector, then triggering the sprinklers that quickly put out the fire. This also unlocks the rooftop door, allowing the Hyosan School Group to get to the roof. Without intending too, she saves the Hyosan School Group.
Before the government decided to bomb certain areas that had massive amount of infected such as the school, Eun-ji made it to the Quarantine Camp after she encountered Song Jae-ik and his group. There she reunited with Cheol-soo who was rescued by a helicopter. Despite being reunited, Eun-ji bites Cheol-soo on the shoulder in an attempt to devour him which causes him to be infected and, presumably, die from blood loss. She is then taken away by the military to be experimented on in an isolation room by scientists and the government so they can know more about the virus.
In the final episode the room containing her is shown to be empty, implying that she was either executed by the military or transferred somewhere to continue testing.
Physical Appearance[]
Eun-ji has chest length brown hair. She wears the standard Hyosan High School female uniform. She loses the cardigan after it's torn by Gwi-nam and Chang-hoon. In the flashbacks of her getting bullied in Episode 8, she wears the Hyosan High School female summer uniform. After the apocalypse, she removes the bow. After she becomes a halfbie, she ties her hair into a high ponytail, puts on red lipstick, and wears the Hyosan High School track uniform that hides her bite marks.
Personality[]
Like Cheol-soo and Jin-su, Eun-ji is shy, quiet, and depressed and is considered an outcast. She doesn't really like to talk to other people and is usually lonely as she doesn't have many friends in Hyosan High School. Her only friend is Cheol-soo. She is also shown to be brave, as she travels through a zombie infested school to delete the video, leaving Cheol-soo Behind. After the 4th episode, she becomes sadistic and tries to kill Cheong-san despite him not knowing her and she also tried to kill Su-hyeok despite the fact that he tried to save Eun-ji from the bullies, also seen when she, presumably, killed Cheol-soo at the quarantine camp and showed no remorse or guilt about it. After becoming a halfbie, she develops an insatiable hunger, which she mentions frequently.

Trivia[]
- Eun-ji's halfbie infection started on October 21, 2021. Same day as Yoon Gwi-nam, Choi Nam-ra and possibly Lee Byeong-chan.
- In the webtoon, Eun-ji was not a hybrid and was a minor character. She teamed up with Yoon Gwi-nam, after he found her hiding behind a drawer after two survivors killed each other.
- After Gwi-nam became infected, Eun-ji started having her period, which caused Gwi-nam to devour her due to the blood smell inciting his hunger.
- Her appearance could be based of Gwi-nam's first victim, Yang Sae-eun, whom he tortured and glued her eyes shut while hiding; she eventually tried to fight back but ended up committing suicide.
- She was the third known character to leave Hyosan High School.
