History[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Eun-hee is an assemblywoman for Gyeonggi-do. One of her aides was infected during the initial outbreak and she called for emergency assistance after the aide tried to attack her other staff.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Eun-hee quickly realizes the gravity of the situation and forms a group with her employees, Nam So-ju, and Kim U-sin, although there is a persistent divide between the politicians and the firefighters. She initially asks when they are to be rescued, but when So-ju tells her that VIP's recieve no special treatment, she accepts this and focuses on bunking down for the night. However, when So-ju asks to leave and rescue his daughter, she refuses, pointing out that he and she have a duty to the group they are with and to their community before their families.
On arrival at the quarantine camp, she initially tries to connect with the camp leadership and take charge of the situation, but is quickly rebuffed. She, her aides, and the firefighters are placed in a private quarantine room pending medical tests. Even then, she continues to try and advocate for her district, begging the military commander to evacuate the local schools and save the children there. When So-ju escapes the camp, she takes full responsibility, saying that she will always stand with innocent civilians.
Just before the bombing of Hyosan, the leader of her party arrives at the camp and tries to coerce her into resigning from her post, believing that she would soon die in the upcoming bombing and wanting to help his party's reputation. She refused and later ripped up the resignation letter he brought her.
After the bombing, Commander Jin Seon-mu approached her and asked her to support the surviving citizens of Hyosan. She became furious with him, calling him a murderer. At the end of Season 1, she is still living in the quarantine camp, and it is uncertain whether she is still an active member of her party.
Physical Appearance[]
Eun-hee has black hair tied in a bun. She wears a pink blazer with pink pants and a white blouse. After living in the Quarantine Camp for more than four months, she wears a maroon jacket and white hoodie underneath, and her hair is tied into a ponytail.
Personality[]
Eun-hee has a no-nonsense personality as well as a serious and determined attitude towards the situation. She always tries to do what she thinks is right, and what will help the most people at any one time. Despite this, she still cares for the citizens and constantly tries to persuade the military to start search and rescue efforts.
