The Unnamed Principal was one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Lee Byeong-chan) of Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. He is portrayed by Eom Hyo-seop, and voiced by Vic Chao in the English dub.
History[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Before the outbreak, the principal was a carefree man who only cared about the reputation of his high school. He also didn't seem shocked by the pervasive bullying by some students. In this case, he didn't care about the bullying of Lee Byeong-chan's son, Kim Cheol-soo, and Min Eun-ji.
Post-Apocalypse[]
At the beginning of the epidemic in the school, he minimizes the danger with the other teachers and insists that they don't call the police. However, the situation worsens and many high school students are infected, forcing the principal to hide in his office. At one point, he comes across Yoon Gwi-nam who goes inside the office to hide from the infected. Gwi-nam ties him up after meeting him and would be then greeted by Cheong-san after he entered the room after being chased by a horde of zombies.
After Cheong-san saw what Gwi-nam was doing to the principal, the duo argued. The principal saw this as an opportunity and attempted to flee from Gwi-nam. However, his throat was slit by Gwi-nam in front of Cheong-san, who filmed the entire murder. It is also very likely his corpse burned during the explosion of Hyosan High School along with the zombies.
Physical Appearance[]
The principal had short brown hair in a brush-up style. He wore an olive green suit jacket, a white undershirt, and dress pants of the same color. After the apocalypse, he removed his jacket and his undershirt became stained with blood.
Personality[]
The principal only cared about the school's reputation, as seen when he refuses to call the police after being warned about the Jonas Virus[1], as well as covering for delinquents and bullies[2]. Later as the outbreak worsens, he attempted to convince Gwi-nam to rush to his car to draw the zombies allowing himself to escape, showing him to be a coward willing to sacrifice the students he's supposed to watch over.

- In the original webtoon, Now at Our School, the principal was more moral and kinder than his Netflix counterpart. He did not side with the bullies and cared for the student's safety (as shown when he did not hesitate to call the police when they were first warned about the zombies as well as the potential outbreak).
- The Principal gets mentioned by Cheong-san in Episode 11, saying to Gwi-nam that he is a coward who is still afraid of someone discovering his crime.
- The Principal’s fate in the webtoon is unknown, and he is not killed by Gwi-nam.
- According to MyDramaList, the principal's name is Lee Jae-yong.[3] However, it is unconfirmed.
- Lee Jae-yong is also the name of the good detective in the webtoon.
- The Principal is one of six victims to be killed by Gwi-nam. Others being Shin Hyung-seo, Jang Do-min, Son Myeong-hwan, Lee Na-yeon and Jung Min-jae.
