Yoon I-sak (Korean: 윤이삭) was a supporting character in Netflix's All of Us Are Dead. She is portrayed by Kim Ju-a. In the English Dub, she is voiced by Angie Kim.
History[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
I-sak was the classmate and best female friend of Nam On-jo. She also knows Lee Cheong-san and Han Gyeong-su, as they meet up to go to Cheong-san Chicken after school for dinner. The next day, On-jo asks I-sak for advice on something, but doesn't reveal what despite her prodding. She doesn't hand in her phone, but is forced to when Park Sun-hwa texts the class group chat. During lunch On-jo tells I-sak that she told Lee Su-hyeok that she likes him. She screams happily, getting noticed by the other students and almost revealing On-jo's secret.
Post-Apocalypse[]
During the outbreak I-sak was in the cafeteria and was lucky enough to escape the carnage before hiding in Class 2-5 with her classmates where she reunited with On-jo being happy that her best friend survived, and waited as On-jo calls for help but fails. Kang Jin-gu enters the classroom, but when the group realizes he is infected, they demand for him to leave, which he refuses to do. Unfortunately one of the students, Kim Min-ji is bitten and transforms into a zombie. They run into the science classroom, where they fight against zombies with the doors and windows.
Death[]
When trying to get into the science room, I-sak is bitten on the leg but doesn't notice. After getting in the room, I-sak comforts On-jo about Su-hyeok being separated from them, then On-jo feels that I-sak's hand is cold. Her nose bleeds and panics when she realizes she is bitten, her eyes redden and cries to On-jo, they hug before I-sak transforms into a zombie. She attempts to attack On-jo, but Cheong-san pushes her and she falls out of the window, still hanging on the edge. As On-jo mourns for her best friend, Cheong-san pushes her to the ground with a stool to save On-jo from being bitten. On-jo cries as she loses her best friend after seeing her fall. When the group managed to get out of the school, where the exact spot I-sak fell, her corpse isn't present, assuming she ran off and began attacking others students.
I-sak is never seen again, but she was presumably incinerated in the bombing along with all the other zombies.
Legacy[]
Her name was seen on a memorialized message written by On-jo alongside with others such as Cheong-san and Nam-ra. It was translated as "I-sak, i miss you".
Physical Appearance[]
I-sak had dark brown hair done up in a bun. During the rush after leaving the classroom, her bun comes loose and unfurls into a high ponytail. In On-jo's flashbacks, she's seen with her hair down and in a French braid, and a light pink hat with bunny ears on it, and without the bow in On-jo's last flashback. She wore the standard Hyosan High School female uniform with pale pink sneakers. On the day of the apocalypse she wore sweatpants under her skirt. In On-jo's flashbacks, she's seen wearing the Hyosan High School female summer uniform.
Personality[]
I-sak was shown to be very cheerful and supportive, always supporting On-jo, while also occasionally teasing her in a friendly, light-hearted manner. When she realized she was infected, she went into denial and told the others she wasn't bitten despite her showing signs of being infected, while asking On-jo if she was one of them, showing her deep trust in On-jo and their strong bond. This is further solidified as she calls out to On-jo, before falling to the floor as she turns into a zombie.

- I-sak is based on the character Sak from the original Webtoon, Now at Our School. In the Webtoon, Sak is bitten while helping Kim Hyeon-ju in the Nurse's Office, and begins the outbreak in the school, infecting Yang Dae-su as well as other students and teachers.
- During the entire series there are zombies who look like her but its unconfirmed if any of them were I-sak, as they are not clearly seen and their nametags are not clearly seen also.
- I-sak was mentioned the most than other characters, Partially due to On-jo comforting Cheong-san about Gyeong-su's death, And On-jo mourning I-sak's death.
- Oddly, I-sak got bitten on the leg and was the longest duration before being turned, originally the transformation lasted less than 5 minutes.
- Kim Ju-a was only 18 years old playing her character of the role.
